The Studio
Owl Shed Studios is a studio split over two rooms - one control/live room and one live room. Between these two spaces, we have the flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of set ups, ensembles & recording approaches.
Enabled by our set up, we can record a full band live whilst maintaining excellent separation via DI and instrument isolation. We are also able to achieve extremely unique drum sounds, utilising our stairwell and other ambient mic techniques.
Owl Shed Studios has the capability to be fully mobile - we can provide all audio recording services anywhere that is dry and has electricity!
Gear
The Owl Shed uses Apple computers equipped with: Logic Pro X, Reaper, Slate Digital, Neural DSP, Superior Drummer2.0 (with EZX) and GGD for all recording, mixing & mastering.
